Workload

Students are expected to utilise 150 hours per course on lectures, tutorials, laboratories and self-direct study. Over eight courses, this gives 1200 hours per year for full-time study.

Failed Courses

Students who fail courses in their First Professional Year will have to pass them in the next year in order to complete the First Professional Year. Failed courses will impact the courses that the student can take in the following semesters due to failure to meet prerequisites for subsequent courses. In most cases, this will extend the time it will take a student to complete the degree by a semester.
